Google Services Integration

What we access: Google profile information (name, email address) for optional account creation via 'Sign up with Google', and optional Gmail send-on-behalf permissions for lead outreach emails (a web platform feature; the Loanranger iOS app cannot send messages of any kind). We do NOT access, read, or store Gmail messages or other Gmail content.

How we store it: Google profile data is encrypted using industry-standard encryption and stored securely on our servers. No Gmail message content is ever accessed or stored.

How we use it: Profile data is used solely for user account creation and authentication when users choose the Google sign-up option. Gmail send permissions are used only when users explicitly enable this optional feature for lead outreach communications.

User control: Both Google account creation and Gmail integration are entirely optional. You can choose traditional email/password registration instead of Google sign-up, and can opt in or out of Gmail features at any time. Users maintain full control over their Google account permissions and can revoke access through their Google account settings.

Limited Use compliance: Loanranger's use of information received from Google APIs (including Google profile, Gmail, and Google Contacts data) adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We do not share Google user data with third parties or use it for advertising, and we do not sell it. We do not use, transfer, or sell raw or derived Google user data to develop, improve, or train generalized or foundational artificial intelligence or machine learning models. Google user data is used solely to provide the user-facing features described in this policy.

Google Contacts

What we access: With your explicit permission, read-only access to your Google Contacts (contact names, phone numbers, and email addresses) through the Google People API. We request read-only access only, and we never create, edit, or delete your Google Contacts.

Why we access it: To let you map, view, and search your professional relationships inside Loanranger, so you can organize and reconnect with the people already in your network.

How we store it: Imported contact details are encrypted using industry-standard encryption and stored securely on our servers, associated only with your account.

How we use it: Solely to provide the in-app relationship mapping, viewing, and search features described above. We never use your contacts for advertising, and we never sell or share them with third parties. Your Google Contacts are never used to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

User control: Connecting Google Contacts is entirely optional and initiated by you. You can disconnect at any time and revoke Loanranger's access from your Google Account's third-party access settings.

LinkedIn Professional Network Data

What we access: Publicly available LinkedIn profile information (name, email address, connections) via the official Swarm Chrome Extension (GDPR & CCPA compliant).

How we store it: All data is encrypted using industry-standard encryption methods and stored securely on our servers.

How we use it: Solely for social connection mapping for individual users. We do not use this data for any other purpose.

Sharing policy: We never share this data with third parties or use it for advertising targeting.

Property Data

What we access: Publicly available property data (address, property type, estimated value).

How we store it: All data is encrypted using industry-standard encryption methods and stored securely on our servers.

How we use it: Property data is used to enrich leads with real estate context.

Sharing policy: We never share this data with third parties or use it for advertising targeting.

Lead Enrichment (Loanranger platform)

What it is: Loanranger is a lead-generation platform for licensed mortgage professionals. Contacts and records in your account are matched against licensed identity data and publicly available property records, so that you can see real-estate and loan context on the people already in your own network.

What we send: To perform that match, a contact's name and phone number are sent to the licensed identity and property data providers we use for enrichment, who process it on our behalf and under contract.

How we use it: Enrichment results appear inside your own account. We do not sell contact data, and we do not share it for advertising.

Scope: Enrichment is a Loanranger platform process. It applies to the contacts and records in your account however they reached it — a CRM upload, a connected address book, or a contact book imported from a device.

Transferring a lead: Loanranger lets you transfer a lead to another Loanranger user, as a referral. Doing so moves that lead into the recipient's account, including the enrichment attached to it, and it is the one circumstance in which a contact of yours becomes visible to another Loanranger user. It is always an action you take deliberately — a transfer never happens automatically, and we never initiate one on your behalf.

Device & Outlook Contact Books

What we access: When you choose to import a contact book, we read each contact's name — the display name, and the first and last name where the card stores them separately — along with its phone numbers and email addresses. In the Loanranger iOS app this is your iPhone address book, read on the device only after you grant Contacts permission in iOS, and only after you agree, on the import screen, to upload them — never in the background and never on launch. On the web, the equivalent import reads your Outlook contacts through a permission you grant to Microsoft. (Google Contacts is covered separately above, and is subject to Google's stricter Limited Use terms.) We do not read notes, photos, birthdays, relationships, or any other field your contact cards may hold.

How we store it: Imported contacts are uploaded to your Loanranger account and stored on our servers, encrypted using industry-standard encryption. They are visible only to you.

How we use it: To build and organise your own relationship map — grouping the people you know into family, neighbours, friends, colleagues and past clients, so you can view and search your own network. Imported contacts are never used for advertising.

Enrichment: Contacts imported into your account also enter the Loanranger platform's lead enrichment process, described under "Lead Enrichment (Loanranger platform)". That process is a feature of the Loanranger platform, and it applies to contacts however they reach your account.

Sharing policy: We do not sell contact data, and we do not share it for advertising. Other Loanranger users cannot see your imported contacts, with one exception you control: a lead you choose to transfer to another user moves to their account, as described under "Lead Enrichment (Loanranger platform)".

Your control: Importing a contact book is always optional and always started by you. On iOS you can revoke Contacts access at any time in Settings, or grant access to only a selection of your contacts rather than all of them — Loanranger imports only what you have selected. To delete contacts you have already imported, or your account and everything associated with it, contact support@loanranger.ai.

User Account Information

What we access: Name, email, business contact details are collected during account registration.

How we store it: All data is encrypted using industry-standard encryption methods and stored securely on our servers.

How we use it: User account information is used to provide the core functionality of the platform.

Sharing policy: We never share this data with third parties or use it for advertising targeting.

Diagnostics & Crash Reporting

What we collect: Crash reports and performance data from the Loanranger web platform and the Loanranger iOS app, through Sentry, our error-monitoring provider. A report carries the technical detail of the failure — the error, where in our code it occurred, the release version, and the device or browser and operating system.

Whether it is linked to you: This differs by platform, and we would rather be exact than reassuring. In the iOS app, diagnostics are not linked to you: we do not attach your name, email address, or account identifier to crash or performance events. On the web platform, diagnostics from a signed-in session are linked to your account — a report carries your account identifier, name, email address, account role, and IP address — because reproducing a fault a particular customer hit is rarely possible without knowing which account hit it.

Session recording (web platform only): On the web we also use Sentry's session replay, which records a reconstruction of what happened in the browser — the pages and elements on screen, and the interactions with them — for a small sample of sessions and for any session in which an error occurs. Passwords and payment card details are never recorded, and the contents of network requests are not captured. Beyond those, you should assume that what was visible on your screen was recorded: that includes text you type into a form, and the customer records shown in your own lists and tables. Recordings are used only to diagnose faults, and are subject to the same handling as every other diagnostic event described here. The Loanranger iOS app does not record sessions.

How we use it: Solely to find and fix faults and to monitor performance. Diagnostics are never used for advertising, never used for tracking, and never sold.

Retention: Diagnostic events and session recordings are held by Sentry on our behalf and under contract, and are subject to the deletion rights described in "User Rights (State-Specific)".
